Melinda started her career modeling in fashion shows, which led to a Miller Lite commercial with John Travolta.Melinda has always had the desire to help people look and feel beautiful, especially for women to live their best life; which, led to being a personal trainer and fitness instructor in New Jersey. Melinda wanted to create an exercise program that made it easy for women to workout, a more personalized program in the privacy of their home. Then, Melinda’s Body Sculpting Workouts was created. During that time, Melinda was featured in the Burlington County Times, appeared on BET, the television show “Our Voices,” local radio shows and Health Quest Magazine.

Melinda wanted to show another side of her creativity by writing. Melinda began freelance writing as an entertainment reporter and writer for Coyote Press, Back Stage Magazine and Las Vegas Sentinel-Voice, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Melinda attended the first BET Award Show at the Paris Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. Melinda has interviewed celebrities such as the groups 112 and City High, has written several review stories as well as interviewing the first African American Superintendent of Las Vegas, to name a few.

Melinda went on to open MAV’s Fashion Boutique in Philadelphia, PA. During that time, Melinda maintained paralegal positions working for attorneys for over 25 years and also acquired her MBA degree; which, has led to the development of LARNE’T COSMETICS.

Larne’t Cosmetics was created due to Melinda not being able to find a lipstick brand that provided great coverage in beautiful shades that were appealing for her lip tone. Well, Melinda found a manufacturer that could do just that. All lipstick shades are extremely appealing and the coverage is great for all lip tones. FORGET about trying on several shades to get the right one, they all LOOK BEAUTIFUL ON!
